First Aid - Standard Recertification (Red Cross)

This is a course to recertify and review skills.

IMPORTANT: You must currently be Red Cross Standard First Aid certified and have taken the full SFA course prior to recertifying.(you cannot repeat a recertification course)   Your certification cannot be expired at time of the recertification, and you must have a Red Cross card to confirm your certification with the instructor .  To remain certified following a recertification course, the full Standard First Aid course must be completed. Certification is valid for 3 years from completion date.  CPR C and AED certification included.

Note: Online registration is not available for this course.  Register in DBAC WG 101 or Print Registration Form (No CODE required, just Date and Type of Course) and fax to 905-777-0126, or email to

  • Winter Registration opens December 1
  • Spring Registration for First Aid courses opens March 1  (Weekday courses only offered in spring)

STAFF/FACULTY:Please verify with your Human Resources advisor if you are eligible for free training. Departments will be charged in the case of a 'no-show' or for cancellations less than 1 business day prior to course. Employee number, department account number, and contact information MUST be included on registration form if you are registering at $0.

What to Wear

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for performing the skills required for CPR. (kneeling on mats on floor)
