Karate is an Asian system of unarmed combat using the hands and feet to deliver and block blows, involving mental as well as physical training. This very popular and dynamic program at McMaster is designed for all belt levels and includes Goju Ryu and Kobudo (weaponry) styles

Instructor Bio
Sensei McColl's Karate journey began at the age of 24 down at the Delta club here in Hamilton; a club to which the McMaster dojo still holds many close ties. Sensei has studied and become proficient in Goju Ryu, Kobudo, and Jujitsu. His travels have taken him to Thailand to study Muay Thai Kickboxing, to Japan to train at the Budo Kan with Goshi Yamaguchi and to Argentina to demonstrate at the World Karate Championships. Sensei McColl has developed well over 50 quality black belts and has been a well known, outstanding instructor for over 30 years at McMaster.
