Game Day Supervisor, Intramural Sports

Responsible for managing the operations of a sport league, Game Day Supervisors lead game staff, troubleshoot game-day challenges and report back to their Sport Supervisor at the end of each shift. A primary focus for Game Day Supervisors is supporting the development of the Game Officials under their supervision and acting as ambassadors and educators with respect to participants' positive sporting behaviour.

Scheduled Hours:

6-10 hours per week - none during final exam periods

Salary:

$17.25/hour

  • Facility setup and takedown in accordance with risk management / safety protocols
  • Supervision of Game Official staff and participants
  • Manage all event details including first aid and conduct incident response
  • Report all game results, injuries and incident

The successful applicant will have a background in a variety of sports; training in and/or demonstrated understanding of issues related to inclusion and equity; certification and/or experience as a game official (referee, umpire, etc.) an asset.

  • Minimum Standard First Aid/CPR C certified prior to work START (in September)
