The McMaster Sailing team is a group of undergraduate students competing under the Canadian Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association in a series of regatta events aimed at continuing the enthusiasm for the sport past athlete’s youth career.

The team is divided into two teams; a High Performance Team, a team of experiences sailors to the C420, racing regularly throughout the season against other Canadian Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association member schools, and the second team: The Development Team, a team for those with some experience, hoping to develop their racing skills and pursue the sport further. Team will practice 2-3 times per week, two athlete-selected dates, and one mandatory practice. Athletes should expect to practice from end of August- end of October.

New this year is our Keel Boat Team! Practice schedule will be similar to the other teams, also including participation in yacht club-hosted race nights. Team members may be part of both the Keel Boat and Dingey Teams.
