The Burridge Gymnasium features three basketball and three volleyball courts with a wood playing surface. The facility is the competitive venue for McMaster basketball, volleyball and wrestling. The historic arena includes seating for 2,200, including 150 chair back seats, metal halide lighting , three scoreboards, shot clocks, a state-of-the-art videoboard and sound system. McMaster equipment includes a sideline score table with rotating advertising panels. The connected Ivor Wynne Centre includes a two window ticket booth, concession area and washroom facilities. The concourse level overlooking the Burridge Gymnasium, dubbed ‘The Nest’, can be used for entertaining or display purposes and features the McMaster Sports Virtual Hall of Fame. A media gondola high above the court provides space for broadcast and/or technical video.
